A milestone moment today at InfoSec Europe discovering a new support network.

Navigating the crowds, overwhelming noise, and over-stimulating stands tested my neurodiversity, as did the suppliers attempting to socially engineer me into a conversation (spoiler: it doesn’t work—don’t bother). But amidst the chaos, I discovered NeuroCyber a Community Interest Company dedicated to “enhancing career outcomes for neurodivergent professionals, enriching the cyber sector, and ultimately helping to bridge the UK cyber skills gap”.
Many of the most brilliant cybersecurity minds I’ve worked with are neurodiverse, so I had to stop and chat. Their website offers fantastic resources to support the unique challenges we often face, and having joined their networking group, I’m excited to collaborate with them moving forward.
If you’re in cyber and neurodiverse—or just passionate about inclusivity in the industry—check them out. Let’s continue driving positive change.
