We are all struggling to come to terms with the Covid-19 virus. Many organisations have rushed out contingency plans and given out rapidly built laptops to workers who have never experienced working remotely. Policies are being updated on the fly and contingency plans are creaking as they are dusted off.
We are seeing increases in phishing attacks and for the first time the UK government has activate its SMS alert system which no doubt will result in spam text messages arriving on users phones.
As SANS points out many countries are heading into the crisis as other more adversarial countries are coming out and whom may look to take advantage of the situation.
